At Laughs and Learning Childcare, our core belief is that the "Beginning 5 Nurtures a Life." The beginning 5 years of a child's life is when the brain grows rapidly. We seize this window of opportunity by provided a well-rounded curriculum that exceeds beyond basic academics. To prepare the whole child to be kindergarten ready we focus on four essential pillars: Emotional, social, academic, and independence readiness.

Liberty Rickman

My name is Liberty Rickman, I am the owner/Director of Laughs and Learning Childcare. I am a proud mom of four with one fur baby.

Children have always been a passion of mine. It started when my mom opened her daycare when I was in my early teens. At 18, I started as a preschool teacher. I worked with all age groups until I became a Master 2's teacher. After working as a preschool teacher for 5 years, it was time to set off on my own adventure and open up our in-home daycare.

Laughs and Learning in-home was open for 5½ years before we decided we were ready to move to Texas. Laughs and Learning Childcare received it's Texas License in November of 2023!

With over 10 years experience, a permanent directors license, and a big dream, I am working towards opening a center in North East Texas.

Laughs and Learning is TRS approved

We are pleased to announce that our program obtained a four out of four star Texas Rising Star Certification. We strive to maintain quality and affordable care. Our program is geared towards our families and our children. We focus on the needs of each child with low ratios and a guided curriculum that allows each child to achieve those milestones required for a successful academic career.
